Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
All three posts follow the same eligibility framework. Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following criteria relevant to their sport:
- Sports Coach (Football): NIS Coach Certificate OR Diploma or Certificate of coach in Football OR represented at National, Senior Level, or State Level competition in Football. Ex-servicemen with participation in command-level competition in Football are also eligible.
- Sports Coach (Hockey): NIS Coach Certificate OR Diploma or Certificate of coach in Hockey OR represented at National, Senior Level, or State Level competition in Hockey. Ex-servicemen with participation in command-level competition in Hockey are also eligible.
- Sports Coach (Female) (Basketball): NIS Coach Certificate OR Diploma or Certificate of coach in Basketball OR represented at National, Senior Level, or State Level competition in Basketball. Ex-servicemen with participation in command-level competition in Basketball are also eligible. This post is reserved for female candidates.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years as on 30 September 2026. Age relaxation, if any, will be as per Sainik School Society / Government of India norms.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Direct Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates must report in person to the school premises on 19 October 2026 at 10:00 AM with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Screening Written Test: If the number of eligible candidates attending the walk-in interview exceeds 30 for any particular post, Sainik School Jhunjhunu reserves the right to conduct a screening written test before the interview. Only candidates qualifying in the screening test will proceed to the interview stage.
- Document Verification: Original documents will be verified on the spot during the interview process.

- Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if claiming relaxation)
