Educational Qualification:
Counselor: Graduation / Post Graduation in Psychology Or Post Graduation in Child Development Or Graduation / Post Graduation with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling.
PTI and Matron (Female): Bachelor degree in Physical Education from recognized institution OR D.P.Ed. from Recognized University / Institution.
Craft & Workshop Instructor:
(i) Matriculation or equivalent.
(ii) Two years trade certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institution.
(iii) Ability to teach through English Medium.
Horse Riding Instructor:
(i) Intermediate.
(ii) Experience as Horse Riding Instructor in a School / Horse Riding Club.
Band Master:
(i) Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major at the AEC Training College and Centre Pachmarhi OR
(ii) Equivalent Navy / Air Force Courses.
TGT (Mathematics):
(i) Graduation with Mathematics as one subject with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate.
(ii) B.Ed in relevant subject from a recognized University / Institute.
(iii) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET/CTET) Paper-2, conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Medical Officer: MBBS degree from recognised University / Institution.
Nursing Sister (Female): Passed Sr. Secondary Examination (Class XII) or equivalent with Grade 'A' (Three years) Diploma / Certificate in Nursing from recognized Institution. OR B.Sc (Nursing) from Recognized University / Institution. Registration with Indian/Sate Nursing Council. Practical experience of Two years in Hospital/Clinic.
Pay Scale:
INR
29,835-74,552/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 50 Years.

Sainik School at Korukonda informally began on 10 September 1961. The school was formally founded by its first principal, Commander T De Almeida, on 18 January 1962.
The building which is now Sainik School was originally named Alak Appala Kondayamba Vijayaram Palace. It was built in 1911 by Maharaja Vijayaram Gajapathi Raju as his country residence, and later bequeathed to his second son Dr. Vijayanand Gajapathi Raju, Padmabushan, (P.V.G. Raju), known as “Vizzy” in cricketing circles, who gifted the palace, along with 206 acres (0.83 km2) of land surrounding it, for use as a school in September 1961. As a tribute to the Royal Family, the original crest and motto of the Gajapathi dynasty was adopted by the school from its inception.
The Palace was a center for games and sports, where all-India tournaments were conducted, and sportsmen from all over India came to participate and enjoy the princely reception till about 1933.
The school now sends around 600 students into the National Defence Academy.
