Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the date of interview, as per Order No. F.DHF&W/Q015/57/2016-HR-Medical-Secy (H&FW) #11245062/1502/08 dated 26.11.2020, issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department, GNCTD. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is admissible as per applicable rules.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Candidates fulfilling the following qualifications are eligible to attend the walk-in interview for the respective specialty:
- All Specialties (Primary Qualification): MBBS with Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS) or Post Graduate Diploma in the relevant specialty from a Recognized University, with valid registration on the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) register, as per the Residency Scheme.
- Anesthesia – Fallback Qualification: In case of non-availability of a PG-qualified candidate, an MBBS holder with a minimum of two years' experience (including at least one year in the concerned/equivalent department/specialty) from a recognized Government Hospital/Institution may also be considered.
- Maximum Age: 45 years as on the date of interview (with applicable reserved category relaxation).
- Registration: Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration certificate is mandatory for all candidates.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Walk-in Registration: Candidates must report to the Conference Room (Room No. 103) for registration between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the chosen interview date (Monday to Friday, October 2026).
- Document Verification: Original educational qualification certificates, age proof, address proof, caste certificate (if applicable), DMC registration certificate, and other relevant documents will be verified on the spot.
- Interview: Eligible and verified candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee at the hospital premises.
- Appointment: Candidates selected in the interview are required to join immediately or within 07 days from the date of issue of the offer letter.
- Contract Duration: The engagement is purely on an ad-hoc / contractual basis for a period of 89 days or till a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier. The contract is extendable up to a maximum period of 3 years at the discretion of the competent authority.
No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for appearing in the walk-in interview.

- MBBS Degree and Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Certificates with all Consolidated Mark Sheets
- Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration Certificate (mandatory)
- Matriculation (10th) Certificate or Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
- Government-Issued Address Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport)
- Valid Category / Caste Certificate in the prescribed format by the Central or State Government (if claiming relaxation)
- Experience Certificates on official letterhead (for MBBS + 2-year experience candidates applying under the Anesthesia fallback provision)
- Two recent passport-size photographs and a valid Photo ID Proof
