Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, established in Delhi in 1962, is a premier government institution. Originally founded by the Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan, it was taken over by the Government of India in 1967. Guided by late Prime Ministers Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Smt.
