Educational Qualification:
Professor: Ph.D in Education. Postgraduate degree in Education (Shiksha-Acharya/M.Ed/M.A.Education) with minimum 550% marks. Postgraduate degree with 55% marks in any discipline. B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks.

Associate Professor: A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline. A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed) in Sanskrit medium.

Assistant Professor: A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed).

Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, established in Delhi in 1962, is a premier government institution. Originally founded by the Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan, it was taken over by the Government of India in 1967. Guided by late Prime Ministers Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Smt. Indira Gandhi, it became a constituent of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan in 1970, offering significant opportunities for government jobs and public sector careers in education.
