Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) - Yoga Department

• Essential Qualification: A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian/Foreign University along with a good academic record. Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET, OR awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments).
  Alternatively: Master's degree with 55% marks and Ph.D. in Yoga.
• Relaxations/Exceptions: Special relaxation for candidates registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 (regular mode). NET/SLET/SET exemption is available for Ph.D. holders from top 500 global universities (QS, THE, or Shanghai ranking).
• Responsibilities: The Guest Faculty will perform Yoga training duties along with teaching.

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration: Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month (whichever is less).
• Allowances: No allowances, pension, gratuity, leave encashment, etc., shall be admissible.
