On July 1, 1978, the Mahavidyalaya was selected for Adarsh Scheme Under Government Of India. Since then the Institute is running through RASHTRIYA SANSKRIT SANSTHAN (Deemed University under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India).
The Mahavidyalaya holds a pre-eminent position in the field of Sanskrit education.
It is the only Institute in Vrindavan which provide facilities for graduation, post graduation in various Sanskrit disciplines. This institution holds a unique place in academics.
