Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for vacant positions required under the project titled “National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem Agriculture” funded by Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI purely on contractual basis (co-terminus with the project) in the office of Division of Soil Science, Faculty of Horticulture, SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar campus.
1. Name of the position: Project Associate-I (01)
2. Essential Qualification:
a) Essential: BSc in Agriculture/ Horticulture with Post graduate in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Plant Breeding Genetics
b) Desirable: Experience in climate change studies/ remote sensing & GIS
3. Emoluments/ month: Project Associate-I (01 No) @31,000/+ HRA for 1 st and 2 nd year and @35,000/ month+ HRA for 3rd & 4th year and @42,000/month+ HRA for 5th year
Pay Scale:
INR
31000 - 35000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Below 35 years relaxed up to 40 years for SC / ST.

Interview for filling up the position will be held on 10, January 2022 at 11.00 am in the office Chambers of Head Division of Soil Science, Faculty of Horticulture. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates on this account.
