SKUAST Invites Application for JRF Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project entitled “Development of intelligent sprayer for precision spraying in high density orchards” Sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST) New Delhi purely on contractual basis (co-terminus with the project)

1. Name of the position & Number of Posts: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / 01-Post

2. Essential Qualification: B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and communication engineering/Electronics engineering/ Electrical engineering/ from a recognized University and selected through a process described through any one of the following

(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test. CSIR/UGC/-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE

(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DoS, DRDO, MHRD, lCAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. (As per DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30-01-2019)

3. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge and working experience in handling various sensors, controllers and motors. Experience in building circuits and knowledge of different microcontroller boards and SBCS (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Jetson etc.). Good programming skills in Python/C/C++/ MATLAB. Background in machine learning and IoT

4. Emoluments/month: Rs. 31,000/- per month for 1 st and 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/ month for 3 rd year + HRA @18%

5. Others: As per DST Norms and SKUAST-K Statutes

6. Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year (extendable based on performance review annually).
