SOVTECH invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up of the post of Programmers purely on contract basis.
1. Name of the Post: Programmer
2. No. of Post: 03 (three)
3. Consolidated Pay in INR: 38,500/-
4. Essential Educational Qualification:
B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology) Or Master of Computer Application Or Diploma in (Computer Engineering/Information Technology) Or B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) Or Bachelor of Computer Applications
5. Experience and duties and responsibilities: Mandatory: At least two (02) Years experience in programming languages viz., ASP.Net / PHP/ Java. Experience in Govt Depts/ PSUs/ Autonomous Organizations / IT firms.
6. Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance and documentation of applications. Development of web based application as per requirement.
7. Tenure: The period of contract shall be for Five Years renewable on yearly basis based on performance.

Selection Procedure
1. Trade test for 100 marks which will be held for the eligible candidates on 16th April, 2022
2. Trade Test – Web application development using ASP.Net or PHP or Java for 100 marks (4 hours). Cut off marks – 40.

1. The last date of submission of application (online) is 30.03.2022 by 4.30 PM.
2. The candidates needs to apply online by visiting the url – https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in or may also apply through eDweep Kendra (CSC) by paying usual charges for scanning and uploading the documents.
3. All relevant documents in support to the essential qualification, desirable qualification like Educational Certificate, Mark Sheets, Age Proof and Experience Certificate should be uploaded along with the applications.

1. The candidate who can join immediately after selection will be given preference

3. Society for Promotion Vocational & Technical Education (SOVTECH) reserves the right in all respect regarding filling up the post and the decision. Its decision will be final and binding.

6. The decision of SOVTECH in all aspects pertaining to the application, its acceptance or rejection, conduct of interview and at all consequent stages culminating in selection or otherwise of any candidate shall be final and binding on all concerned.
7. SOVTECH reserves its right to alter/modify any condition laid down in this vacancy notice or any backend process for conduct of selection during its various stages as warranted by an unforeseen circumstances arising during the course of this process or as deemed necessary by SOVTECH at any stage
