Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) Invites Application for 23 Junior Research Fellow, Research Associate Recruitment 2026

Unlike most recruitment processes, there is no online or offline application to submit in advance. Candidates must appear directly for the walk-in-interview with the required documents.

1. Download Application Form: Download and take a printout of the Application Form (Appendix ‘A’) from the official notification PDF.
2. Fill the Form: Fill in all details carefully (Name, Father's Name, DOB, Address, Category, Educational Qualifications, Experience, etc.).
3. Affix Photograph: Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the right top corner of the form.
4. Attach Documents: Attach attested copies of all required documents:
   • Mark Sheets and Certificates (10th onwards)
   • Degree Certificates (B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D.)
   • NET/GATE Score Card (for JRF candidates)
   • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
   • Experience Certificates (if any)
   • Publications (if any)
   • 'No Objection Certificate' (if currently employed in Govt/PSU/Autonomous Body)
5. Report for Interview: Reach the interview venue on the date and time applicable to your discipline and fellowship type. Bring all original documents for verification.
6. Screening Test (if applicable): Be prepared for a screening test on the same date if the number of candidates is large.

• Eligibility Verification: Ensure you meet the specific educational qualification, NET/GATE, and experience requirements for the post.
• Application Form: Use the prescribed format (Appendix ‘A’) from the official notification. No other format will be accepted.
• Attested Documents: All copies of certificates must be attested. Carry originals for verification.
• NOC Required: If you are currently employed in a Government/PSU/Autonomous Body, you must bring a 'No Objection Certificate'.
• Reporting Time: Report at the venue promptly at 09:30 AM on your scheduled date. Latecomers may not be allowed.
• Screening Test: Be prepared for a screening test if the number of candidates is large.
• No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance or Dearness Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
• Temporary Positions: The fellowships are purely temporary and do not confer any right for absorption into regular DRDO positions.
• Electronic Gadgets: No electronic gadgets (mobile phones, etc.) are allowed inside the SSPL premises.
