• Reservation Eligibility: This recruitment is open exclusively to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology from a recognised University or Institute, with working knowledge of computers.
• Provisional Certificate Clause: Candidates who have not yet received their final degree certificate need not appear for the test. Candidates must obtain the original Degree certificate within two years from the date of issue of the Provisional Degree certificate; those who fail to do so within this period are not eligible.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the Written Test.
• Disqualification: Candidates who have previously undergone training at any Spices Board office need not apply again, regardless of whether they completed that training.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection is through a walk-in written test (including computer proficiency assessment) conducted at the designated centres as per the unit-office-wise schedule.
• Certificate Verification: Candidates must report at the venue by 10:00 AM for document verification; the written test begins at 11:00 AM.
• Bring all original documents and certificates (identity, age, educational qualification) along with one set of self-attested copies each.
• Candidates who report after the specified time, or who fail to submit the online application, will not be permitted to take the test.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the written test.
• A rank list is maintained and is valid for one year from the date of publication of results (unless a fresh notification is issued for the same training).
