SAI Sports Science Division Walk-In 2025 – Apply for Technical Officer & Field Investigator Posts

A Walk-In Interview has been announced by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Sports Science Division (SSD), for temporary project positions. These positions are part of the project titled "Impact of Sports Supplements on recovery in Adolescent Athletes" and are funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR). Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Eligibility for Project Technical Support-III (Technical Officer)

• Essential Qualification: Three-year Graduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Food Science & Nutrition (or equivalent) plus three years of experience in a relevant field. OR a Post Graduate degree in the same fields.
• Equivalence: Courses such as Home Science with Nutrition specialization, Clinical Nutrition, or Sports Nutrition as a major subject are considered equivalent.
• Experience: Experience is counted only after the completion of essential qualifications. A PhD is considered equivalent to a maximum of 4 years of experience.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as of the interview date (Dec 15, 2025).

Eligibility for Project Technical Support-III (Field Investigator)

• Essential Qualification: Three-year Graduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Food Science & Nutrition (or equivalent) plus three years of experience in a relevant field. OR a Post Graduate degree in the same fields.
• Equivalence: Courses such as Home Science with Nutrition specialization, Clinical Nutrition, or Sports Nutrition as a major subject are considered equivalent.
• Experience: Experience is counted only after the completion of essential qualifications. A PhD is considered equivalent to a maximum of 4 years of experience.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as of the interview date (Jan 16, 2026).

Salary / Remuneration

Candidates selected for the positions will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹28,000/- per month plus HRA. The engagement is purely temporary and on a contractual basis for the duration of the project tenure (7 months for Technical Officer, 3 months for Field Investigator).

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:

• Walk-In Interview: Only eligible candidates will be interviewed.
• Written Test: If more than 30 eligible candidates appear for the interview, a written test may be conducted initially.
• Qualifying Marks: 40% for UR/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST.
• Final Selection: Based purely on the score obtained in the interview.

Interested and eligible candidates must appear for the Walk-In Interview at the following venue on the specified date along with all original documents.
