Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

MDDC Director (Contract)

• Must be a retired teacher from a University, Government College, or Aided College.
• Rank must not be below that of an Associate Professor.
• Must hold a Doctorate (Ph.D) degree from a recognized university.
• Must have not less than 10 academic contributions in the field of knowledge, including scientific books or publications in recognized peer-reviewed academic journals.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience in editing and reviewing for recognized national or international publications.
• Recognitions, awards, fellowships, and completed research projects in the field of knowledge.

Age Limit

Candidates must not exceed 62 years of age as on 01 January 2025.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Applications submitted online and received in hard copy will be evaluated and screened based on eligibility, qualifications, publications, and research credentials.
• No written examination or interview schedule has been disclosed at this stage; the selection is based on screening of applications.
• Candidates who previously applied under the 17 February 2026 notification need not apply again; their earlier applications remain valid and will be considered. They may update their qualifications if required.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
