Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree: M.Sc in Computer and Information Science including Library Science Programmes with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, OR First Class in M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc(CS)/M.Sc(IT) in relevant branch from an Indian University or accredited institution.
• Doctoral Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, IT, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Library Science, ICT, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Science, or allied disciplines, with strong publication record in SCI/Scopus/UGC-CARE journals or top-tier conferences.
• Deputation Eligibility: Teachers not below the rank of Associate Professor in Govt. Colleges, Aided Colleges, Universities, or Government Institutions as per UGC Regulations. Associate Professors will be considered only in absence of Professors.
• Essential Experience: Demonstrated academic leadership (heading a School/Department/CoE); research publications in SCI/Scopus/UGC-CARE; guiding doctoral scholars; managing funded research projects; 12 years of teaching experience in aided/govt colleges or universities.
• Service Eligibility: Candidates with a minimum of four years of service remaining in parent department are eligible.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection committee shall be constituted as per the applicable UGC Regulations and University Statutes. Mere fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview or to be selected. The process typically involves shortlisting based on academic and research credentials followed by an interview before the constituted selection committee. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing before the selection committee.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Self-attested copies of all supporting documents
