Note: The upper age limit is 60 years as on 01 January 2026, with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates. Vacancies are anticipated and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the University.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Only natives of Kerala shall be eligible for the reservation benefits.

Section Officer

• A Bachelor's Degree from a Recognized University.
• Must have retired from the post of Section Officer or above in any recognized State and Central Universities, National Institutions, recognized Autonomous Educational Institutions, and Deemed Universities.

Assistant Registrar

• A Bachelor's Degree from a Recognized University.
• Must have retired from the post of Assistant Registrar or above in any recognized State and Central Universities, National Institutions, recognized Autonomous Educational Institutions, and Deemed Universities.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode of education.
• Proficiency in digital file processing, office automation tools, e-tendering, and GeM procurement processes.
• Experience in NAAC, NIRF, and KIRF accreditation processes.

All degrees and qualifications must be from a University or Institution recognized by the State/Central Government.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection shall be made by a duly constituted Selection Committee as per the University Act & Statutes.
• Short-listing may be based on academic records, teaching experience, research/academic scores, and ODL-relevant experience.
• Defective or late applications will be summarily rejected.
• Canvassing in any form or bringing external influence will lead to disqualification.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the selection process, as this is a contractual appointment.

1. Original Matriculation / Higher Secondary Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
2. Bachelor's Degree Certificate and All Consolidated Mark Sheets from a Recognized University.
3. Copy of Pension Payment Order (PPO) and Service Certificate from the Retiring Institution.
4. Valid Category / Caste / PwBD Certificate in the Prescribed Format issued by Competent Authority (if claiming reservation benefits).
5. Two Recent Passport-Size Photographs & Valid Government-Issued Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
