Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for the position of Two Junior Research Fellows in the ICMR project in the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, SRM University, Delhi-NCR Sonepat and RMRIMS, Patna.

1. Title of Project :  "Re-purposing of drugs and nanoparticle approaches for the improvement of treatment against Visceral Leishmaniasis with the aim of averting the emergence of PKDL"

2. Position and number : Junior Research Fellow (2)

3. Funding Agency : ICMR, Govt. of India

4. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences (or) M.Tech. (Biotechnology) or any other qualification as per ICMR norms

5. Desirable Qualifications: NET/GATE qualified, knowledge in parasitology, molecular biology and cell culture

6. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + HRA as per ICMR Norms. One JRF will be working in RMRIMS, Patna

Pay Scale: INR 31000(Per Month)

Age Limit: 28 years as of July 1, 2022. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD) and female applicants) and 3 years for OBC - Non-creamy layer candidates.
