Job Profile & Responsibilities

SSC JE Electrical engineers are responsible for the design, development, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within government organizations. Key duties include:

Salary Structure & Allowances

Selected candidates are appointed as Junior Engineers in various ministries and departments. The salary is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission (7 CPC):

• Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
• Allowances: In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other benefits as per government rules.
