Vacancy Details & Salary

IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is looking to fill 32 positions for Manager/Electrical across its Northeast Frontier Railway Projects. Details are as follows:

Note: In addition to the above emoluments, the candidates would also be provided an annual increment of 5% on Fixed Consolidated Pay after each completed year of service.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Manager/Electrical – on contract

• Essential Qualification: Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.
• Essential Post Qualification Experience (As on 01.12.2025): Minimum five years of experience in Electrical construction, Procurement, Installation, Testing and commissioning/TRD Maintenance in Railways, Metro Rail, Power Transmission/Distribution utilities. Experience in Railway OHE /Power Supply/SCADA, E&M, Electrical utility Diversion shall be preferred. (Note: Teaching/training/consultancy/Freelancing experience shall not be treated as relevant experience.)
• Age Limit (As on 01.12.2025): Maximum 50 years. Age relaxations will be applicable as per Government of India’s guidelines for reserved categories, subject to fulfillment of requisite qualification and experience.
• Medical Standards: Candidates should be in sound health and free from color blindness. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.

Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates for the Manager/Electrical position will receive a fixed consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000/- per month. Additionally, an annual increment of 5% on the fixed consolidated pay will be provided after each completed year of service. Other benefits include:

• Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary, with a matching contribution from IRCON.
• Medical Health Insurance Policy of Rs Three Lakhs for self (with a ceiling of premium of Rs 4000/- per annum) to be taken by the Contract Employees themselves covering Covid-19 and other diseases; the premium amount shall be reimbursed.
• TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
• One leave for each calendar month of service can be availed during the contract period.

Selection Process

The selection process for Manager/Electrical will involve a written exam and/or interview of shortlisted candidates. IRCON reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel, restrict & modify the requirement at any point of time without assigning any reason thereof.

The appointment is initially for a period of two years, subject to satisfactory performance, and may be further extended for another one year if the services are found satisfactory. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the Project for which the candidate is selected and will not confer any right to claim absorption in the regular establishment of the company.

• Experience Certificate(s) in chronological order. In case of Present Employment, offer letter alone will not be considered; last two months’ salary slip of the present employer must also be submitted.
• Date of Birth/Class X passing certificate as proof of DOB.
• Caste certificate/EWS Certificate/Age relaxation certificate (issued in the prescribed format as per Government of India's guidelines; OBC certificate issued in the current financial year only will be accepted).
• Qualification Degree/Diploma and all semester/year Mark sheets for calculation of percentage in qualifying degree. Candidates awarded CGPA/OGPA/DGPA should submit proof of conversion factor to percentage.
