Educational Qualification: Candidates Should have B.Sc. (Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing), or GNM with a Certificate in Community Health.

Age Limit: Maximum 42 Years.

The Union Cabinet vide its decision dated 1st may 2013, has approved the launch of National Urban Health Mission as a sub- mission of an overarching national Health Mission, with National Rural Health Mission being the other sub- mission of National Health Mission.
