Paediatrician, Class-1: M.D (Paediatrics) or Diplomate of National Board or Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics.
Medical Officer Class-2: Possess a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or Under the Central or a State Act in India.

Surat Municipal Corporation is the local governing body responsible for the administration and development of the city of Surat in Gujarat, India. It was established in 1966 under the Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporation Act, of 1949, and is currently headed by the Mayor of Surat.
