Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Interested candidates must fulfil one of the following qualification criteria for the Sports Coach position:
- Path 1: Passed NIS (National Institute of Sports) or an equivalent diploma/course from the Sports Authority of India (6-month duration), along with at least one year of coaching experience in the relevant sport.
- Path 2: Possesses B.P.Ed / D.P.Ed / M.P.Ed qualification and is a physically fit Physical Training (PT) teacher with relevant coaching experience.
- Path 3: H.S.C. (12th) passed with participation at the National or State level in the relevant sport, or with at least 2 years of coaching experience in the relevant sport.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection for SMC Sports Coach Recruitment 2026 will proceed through the following stages:
