Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) Limited is the industrial development agency of the Government of Tamil Nadu, established in 1965. TIDCO endeavors to achieve balanced and continual industrial growth by promoting medium and large industries in the state through Joint Ventures. TIDCO is also the nodal agency for the development of various industrial corridor projects in Tamil Nadu – Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC), Chennai Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC), Western Corridor (Kochi – Bangalore Industrial Corridor), and Defence Industrial Corridor projects.

3. Compensation: Net CTC is (negotiable) depending on the experience and qualification. (TDS and other statutory deductions, as applicable)

4. Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering or Technology.Master’s in Business Administration / Postgraduate in management / equivalent

5. Preferred Experience: 

a) Minimum 5 years of experience in working with projects in the Aerospace and defense industries domain with the Government sector 

b) Experience in Project Management and handling of projects related to Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing 

c) Proficiency in developing effective presentations and MS Office. 

d) Must have experience in handling various projects in the Aerospace and defense sector

6. Broad Job Description : 

a) Should be able to manage the Tender process, Project formulation, appraisal, and evaluation i.e. preparation of RFP/RFI/EOI documents, Bid Process management.

b) Coordinate with Vendors for facilitating contracts, bill payments and etc.

c) Network effectively with various State/National/International level vendors, industry associations and develop strong professional relationships.

d) Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners of TN Defense Industrial Corridor.

e) Work closely with the trade association and industry bodies, government agencies, aerospace and defense industries for the development of TNDIC.

f) Maintain electronic appointment (Outlook & Google) schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

g) Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports,Take minutes during meetings

h) Should be able to travel to other locations to meet with vendors and OEMs and participate in exhibitions and seminars related to Aerospace and Defence manufacturing.

i) Should be able to develop and formulate proposals related to Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing industries
