Educational Qualification: B.Pharma, B.Tech/B.E, M.Pharma, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MBA/PGDM, PG Diploma, PGDBM, PGDBA, M.Plan

TIDCO is inviting applications for the following posts from eligible candidates to join TIDCO on a fixed term contract basis (subject to performance evaluation) for three years on a fixed term contract basis, renewable every year based on satisfactory performance of the candidate for upto three years and extendable for further period as decided by Board of TIDCO.

1. Position: Associate Vice President, Pharma, Biotech and Medtech

2. Location: Chennai

3. Qualification:

B. Pharm or; B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Computer Science / Biomedical / Biotechnology / Nanotechnology / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation or similar core engineering or Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) / Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or M.Sc in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biophysics / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Microbiology / Life Sciences.

4. Preferred: Masters / Post graduate diploma in management/ business administration from a reputed institute (MBA / PGDM / PGDBA/ PGDBM) or M. Pharm or M.E./ M.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Computer Science / Biomedical / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or MD.

5. Preferred experience (Note: Relevant sector shall mean Pharma/ bio-tech or med-tech sectors):

a. Minimum 10 years of overall experience as mentioned below: Should have held middle management positions in the relevant sector for at least 5 years. Should have access to a peer level network in the relevant sectors.

b. Should have knowledge and understanding of two or more of the following areas in the relevant sector: emerging technologies/ advances, industry trends (domestic and international), policies, product and service offerings, vendors, supply chain.

c. Should understand regulatory frameworks (laws, acts, rules, regulations and policies) in the sector in Tamil Nadu, other states in India and countries actively engaged in this sector.

1. Position: Vice President, IT & ITES

2. Location: Chennai

3. Qualification:

B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics/ Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / or similar core engineering or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Cyber Forensics and Information Security

4. Preferred: Masters / Post graduate diploma in management/ business administration from a reputed institute (MBA / PGDM / PGDBA/ PGDBM) or M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation.

5. Preferred experience (Note: Relevant sector shall mean Pharma/ bio-tech or med-tech sectors):

Minimum 20 years of overall experience as mentioned below: Should have held senior management positions (MD/ CEO and up to two levels below) in the relevant sector for at least 10 years. Should have access to and networks with senior management personnel in companies in the relevant sectors.

1. Position: Vice President, Electrical and electronic hardware, vehicles and fuel technologies

2. Location: Chennai

3. Qualification:

B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Energy Engineering / Robotics and Automation Engineering or similar core engineering or

4. Preferred: Masters / Post graduate diploma in management/ business administration from a reputed institute (MBA / PGDM / PGDBA/ PGDBM) or M.E / M. Tech in Electrical / Electronics and Communication / Mechanical / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Energy Technology / Green Energy Technology or similar core engineering

5. Preferred experience (Note: Relevant sector shall mean Pharma/ bio-tech or med-tech sectors):

Minimum 20 years of overall experience as mentioned below: Should have held senior management positions (MD/ CEO and up to two levels below) in the relevant sector for at least 10 years. Should have access to and networks with senior management personnel in companies in the relevant sectors.

1. Position: Associate Vice President, Transport and Civil Aviation

2. Location: Chennai

3. Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace or similar core engineering or B. Plan or M. Sc. in Aviation Science

4. Preferred:

Masters / Post graduate diploma in management/ business administration from a reputed institute (MBA / PGDM / PGDBA/ PGDBM) or M. Plan (Transport Planning) or Master of Planning (Urban Transport Systems) or M.E / M. Tech in Transportation Engineering / Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace / Transportation Systems / Highway Technology / Geotechnical or similar core engineering.

5. Preferred experience (Note: Relevant sector shall mean Pharma/ bio-tech or med-tech sectors):

Minimum 10 years of overall experience as mentioned below: Should have held middle management positions in the relevant sector for at least 5 years. Should have access to a peer level network in the relevant sectors.

1. Position: Sr. Associate, Transport and Civil Aviation

2. Location: Chennai

3. Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace or similar core engineering or B. Plan or M. Sc. in Aviation Science

4. Preferred:

Masters / Post graduate diploma in management/ business administration from a reputed institute (MBA / PGDM / PGDBA/ PGDBM) or M. Plan (Transport Planning) or Master of Planning (Urban Transport Systems) or M.E / M. Tech in Transportation Engineering / Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace / Transportation Systems / Highway Technology / Geotechnical or similar core engineering. Proficiency in spreadsheets, business modelling and financial analysis preferred.

5. Preferred experience (Note: Relevant sector shall mean Pharma/ bio-tech or med-tech sectors):

Minimum 5 years of overall experience as mentioned below: Hands on experience in one or more of the following: developing consulting reports, carrying out market studies, analysing historical financial data, developing projections for businesses/ companies, evaluating investment options. Should have exposure to common frameworks and templates for business analysis. Awareness of advances in the relevant sector (e.g. smart transportation, multimodal transport, traffic management systems) preferred.
