Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor in the discipline of Veterinary and Animal Sciences must possess recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 and a valid registration certificate with State Veterinary Council / Veterinary Council of India. They must possess B.V.Sc & A.H / B.V.Sc with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale, wherever the grading system is followed. Further they must possess a Master’s degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.

2. Candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Test conducted by ASRB / ICAR / UGC / CSIR or a similar test conducted by the UGC like SLET / SET in the concerned discipline will be given preference.

Pay Scale:

57000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Application Fee: The candidate selected as “Assistant Professor” on whole-time basis with consolidated pay have to furnish a bond / undertaking on stamp paper of Rs.100/- while joining, to the Registrar, TANUVAS, Chennai stating that he / she shall not claim the permanency in the University service in future.
