Educational Qualification: Candidates should have M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or other relevant field and has been declared qualified for engagement as a Food Analyst by the FSSAI. Desirable: ISO 17025:2017 training. Minimum 02 years working experience in an NABL-accredited food lab and knowledge in analytical field and handling of instruments.

A walk-in interview will be conducted on 04.11.2025 from 11.30 a.m.. Place of Walk-In-Interview: Tea Board India, 14, BTM Sarani, Kolkata-700001, West Bengal. Phone: 033-22351331. Interested candidates are requested to appear (in person) in the walk-in interview along with an application form (strictly as per the enclosed format), CV, and self-attested copies of testimonials. Registration for appearing in the interview will be allowed up to 11.00 a.m. only. The candidates are also advised to bring original testimonials for verification. Candidates who have qualified and been authorized as Food Analysts by FSSAI are allowed only to appear for the interview.

Tea is one of the industries, which by an Act of Parliament comes under the control of the Union Govt. The genesis of the Tea Board India dates back to 1903 when the Indian Tea Cess Bill was passed. The Bill provided for levying a cess on tea exports - the proceeds of which were to be used for the promotion of Indian tea both within and outside India. The present Tea Board set up under section 4 of the Tea Act 1953 was constituted on 1st April 1954.
