Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up of following vacancies in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on contract basis at a consolidated remuneration mentioned against each vacancy therein. The details regarding the period of engagement, educational qualifications, experience, age, nature of duties etc. are as under:

1. Name of the Post: Young Professional (Tech)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Remuneration: Rs.65,000/- (Fixed) per month
4. Time frame for which the Consultant is to be hired: Initially for 01 Year (Further extendable based on requirement of TRAI and performance of professional)
5. Educational Qualifications: Masters in Technology/Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics/lT/Telecom
6. Post Qualification Experience: 0-3 Years Desirable:-Experience in Electronics/Telecom/Broadcasting/lT
7. Nature of Duties:
(i) Research and Development (R&D) for New Telecom, Broadcasting, IT and Convergence Technology.
(ii) International best practices on technologies and policies or Telecom, Broadcasting, IT and Convergence echnology needs to be carried by the consultant.
(iii) Consultant will give inputs for preparing draft consultation paper on "Facilitating Indigenous R&D in Telecom and Broadcasting Sectors" and "Green Telecom".
Pay Scale:
INR
65000(Per Month)

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established by the Indian government to regulate telecommunications services and ensure their proper functioning in the country. It was created under the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, of 1997.
