Eligibility Criteria for TGPSC Seed Certification Officer 2026

Educational Qualification

• Basic Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag.)
• Postgraduate M.Sc.(Ag.) in Seed Technology / Plant Breeding / Agronomy / Plant Physiology from a university recognized by ICAR

Degrees obtained through Open University or Distance Education must be recognized by UGC/AICTE/DEB. The result of the qualifying exam must be declared on or before the notification date (02 July 2026).

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

Age Relaxation: SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years; PH – 10 years; Telangana State Govt Employees – up to 5 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years plus service length; NCC Instructors – 3 years plus NCC service. Maximum superannuation age is 61 years.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a monthly pay scale of Rs. 51,320 – Rs. 1,27,310 as per Telangana State Government pay rules (7th CPC equivalent). This is an attractive Telangana Government Job with excellent career growth.
