Eligibility Criteria for NSRY Apprentice 2026
- Nationality: Indian Nationals only.
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) passed and ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade.
- Physical Standards: As per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 – must be medically fit.
- Previous Training: Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship in the same trade under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are not eligible.
Reservation of Vacancies
Reservation is as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 applicable in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 3% horizontal reservation for Persons with Disability (PwD) and 3% for Ex-Servicemen / their children / children of armed forces personnel. Vacancies are adjusted within respective categories.
