Online applications are invited from bonafide citizens of India for recruitment to the 36(thirty-six)no. of posts of Supervisor (ICDS) (Group-C Non-Gazetted) under the Social Welfare & Social Education Department in the scale of Rs. 27,300-86,300/- Level-9 of Tripura Pay Matrix, 2018, subject to revision by the Govt. time to time through the Tripura Combined Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Miscellaneous posts.

4. Educational and other qualification required for direct recruitment:-Graduate from a Recognized University.
5. Desirable: At least 5(five) years experience in the field of Women and Child Welfare. Knowledge of Bengali/Kok-borok. Knowledge of Computer.

Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 20-01-2022. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years in respect of ST/SC/PH, Govt. Employee and Anganwadi Workers. The Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/ other categories shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of five(5) years available to them.
The Examination will comprise of three successive stages viz
i)Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Type Test)
ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type Test)
iii)Personality Test, details as mentioned below.
(i) Preliminary Examination:- The preliminary Examination will consist of one paper containing Multiple Choice Type Questions on General Studies and Arithmetic with one hour thirty minutes duration. The Preliminary Examination will be a Screening Test for selection of candidates for admission to the Main Examination. A limited no. of candidates, maximum 5(five) times of total posts (in category wise) will be selected merit wise on the basis of the result of the Preliminary Examination, subject to securing minimum qualifying marks (35% for UR candidates and 30% for reserved category candidates) or otherwise as fixed by Commission. The marks obtained by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be taken into account for the purpose of determining the final merit list.
(ii) Main Examination:- The Main Examination will consist of two papers of Conventional Type Questions namely:- Paper 1: English and Paper- I': General Studies and Arithmetic: Full Marks for each paper will be 100 and time allotted will be 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. The examinations for both the papers will be held preferably on the same day at Agartala. In no case a candidate will be called for Personality Test unless he/she appears in all the papers of the Examination.
(iii)Personality Test
a) Candidates will be called for the Personality Test on the basis of the result of the Main Examination in the following ratio, subject to attaining of minimum qualifying marks (35% for UR candidates and 30% for reserved category candidates).
b) The total marks for the Personality Test will be 20: The Test shall be to assess the personal qualities of the candidate's e.g. intellectual ability, social traits, interest in current affairs, critical power of judgment, variety and depth of interest, ability for leadership and moral integrity.
c) In no case a candidate will be called for Personality Test unless he/she appear in all the papers of the Main Examination.
d) The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in aggregate adding the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Personality Test. If a candidate remains absent in Personality Test his/her candidature will not be considered for final selection. Further, provided that, in the list of recommendation, merit position of candidates securing equal marks in aggregate and also of the same age will be decided on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification prescribed in Recruitment Rules/ Service Rules.
(a) Candidates will have to submit application through Online Application Portal only. The Commission will not entertain any hard copy application. Before submission of online application, read carefully the necessary instructions regarding filling up of online application.
(b) Online Application Portal will be available on Commission's website from 15-12-2021 to 20-01-2022 (5.30 P M). Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio- data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. www.tpsconline.in or through the link provided in www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through Commission's website.
(c) Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications. However, if due to any unavoidable circumstances, any applicant submits multiple applications then he/she must ensure that the application with latest Receipt Number is complete in all respects.
(d) In case of multiple applications, the application with latest Receipt Number shall only be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one Receipt Number shall not be adjusted against any other Receipt Number.

The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commission its statehood on 21st January,1972 and Tripura Public Service Commission was established on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Sri G.P.Bagchi was the first Chairman and Sri I. K. Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission.
