1. Post Name: Individual Consultant – Cluster Coordinator-Organic Farming (1 Posts)
2. Location : Gadag, Karnataka, INDIA
3. Languages Required : English
4. Duties and Responsibilities
a. Candidate should be willing to travel across the districts of the State of Karnataka
b. Cluster level planning and roll out of organic village cluster development activities
c. Rolling out certification in the clusters and facilitate technical support agencies in implementation
d. Maintain information regarding produce of the SHG members, markets (prices and trends), commodity-wise details.
e. Executing capacity building plans for the project staff and community members on farm livelihoods and value chain development
f. Identify best practices and communicate the same to the block level
g. Ensuring data collection and entry into MIS for monitoring and evaluation.
h. Any other tasks/responsibilities as assigned by the Mission Director
5. Required Skills and Experience: Undergraduate (4 years course) in Agri Science, Forestry, B.sc in Horticulture, Diploma in Agriculture and Allied Sciences and relevant field.
6. Experience:
a. 1+ years in a livelihood development project responsible for promotion of organic production systems and allied activities-based livelihoods.
b. Experience of roll-out of PG’s or third-party certification would be preferred
c. Experience of working with community and community mobilization for livelihoods interventions
d. Experience in executing training and capacity building programs at the field level with community resource persons and community.
6. Duration of The Work: The contract will be awarded for one year initially. Working days will be as per the State Government policy.

Selection Procedure
1. Preliminary shortlisting would be done based on the following criteria:
a. Educational Qualification 30 marks.
b. Relevant Experience 40 marks.
c. Interview for 30 marks
2. Those who obtain a minimum 70% of total 70 marks (Educational Qualification & Relevant Experience) will be eligible to appear for the interview.
3. Interview for the shortlisted candidates would be either conducted face to face in Bangalore or by telephone/over skype.
4. The contract shall be awarded on the merit basis.
