Educational Qualification:
Research Assistant: Post Graduate in Social science discipline with minimum 55% marks from UGC recognized University or Institute with NET/ Ph.D./M.Phil. Desirable: (i) UGC NET/ CSIR NET or SET in the concerned discipline; (ii) Adequate knowledge of the English Language and handling socio-economic Data Analysis software.
Field Investigator: Post Graduate in Social science discipline from a UGC-recognized University/institute with a minimum of 55 % marks.
Pay Scale:
INR
20000-37000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 37 Years.

The University of Gour Banga is a State Aided University and it was established under the West Bengal Act XXVI of 2007 on 19th February 2008. During 2016, the University of Gour Banga has scaled important heights by acquiring the UGC 12(B) status, accreditation from the NAAC and a place in the top 200 Indian Universities under the NIRF. These facts become all the more remarkable when one considers that the University was established
in 2008 in the backward region of Malda, West Bengal to cater to the academic needs of the population of the three border districts of Malda, North Dinajpur and South Dinajpur.
