• Required Qualification: Post Graduate (P.G.) degree in Sociology with at least one of the following:
  • UGC NET qualification, or
  • Ph.D. in Sociology or a related area, or
  • Qualification as per the applicable University of Lucknow norms for guest / temporary teaching faculty
• Scope of Work: Teaching U.G. (Undergraduate) and P.G. (Postgraduate) programmes in the Department of Sociology.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 15 October 2026. There is no written examination. The interview panel will assess subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and research orientation of the candidates. Candidates must report at 11:00 AM at the Department of Sociology, University of Lucknow (Old Campus).
