Aided Teaching Positions

Number of Vacancy: 152 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Deans of Faculties & Professor:
i. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by recognized University.
ii A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/ relevant discipline(s) /faculty in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.

Professor: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Associate Professor / Deputy Librarian:
Associate Professor:
(i) A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines;
(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Deputy Librarian A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever grading system is followed;

Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian:
Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Assistant Librarian: A Master‘s degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Pay Scale:
INR
57700-144200/- Per Month

Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Application Fee: application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) for General category candidates and Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two hundred & fifty only).
