Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Invites Application for Project Fellow Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Project Fellow (PF) sponsored by the Inter-University Accelerator Center (IUAC), Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110067. The appointment is as per UGC and IUAC rules/circulars

1. Name of Post: Project Fellow

3. Name of Project: 'Ion beam irradiation-induced gold and silver nanomaterials as SERS substrate for chemical and biological sensing' (UFR-70316)

4. Eligibility: The candidate should be post-graduate in M.Sc. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nanotechnology/ Materials Science with minimum 55% marks with NET-JRF (UCC-CSIR joint test)/ Valid GATE score in project relevant subjects; OR Non-NET/Non-GATE candidates are also eligible to apply.

5. Duration: The stated project has received financial sanction for financial year 2021-2022, and extendable after a review every year, subject to a total period of three financial years.

6. Fellowship: 1. For NET-JRF/ Valid GATE Score Rs. 25,000/- for two financial years and then after for third and final financial year will be Re. 28,000/- per month 2. For Non-NET/ Non-GATE candidates Rs. 14000/- for two financial years and then after for third and final financial year will be Re. 16,000/- per month. (Furthermore, in addition to this, any other allowance like HRA, Medical, etc. will not be paid to the PF).
