Educational Qualification: Retired Staff
1. Post Name: “Chairperson”
2. Qualification: (i) A retired District Judge / a retired Senior Judicial Officer, OR (ii) A retired Civil Servant, not below the rank of Collector, OR (iii) A retired Electrical Engineer not below the rank of Superintending Engineer or equivalent.
3. Experience: Having at least 20 (Twenty) years of experience, with adequate knowledge of power Sector. Experience related to consumer affairs will be preferred.
4. Nos of Posts: 01 (One) + 01 (One) Expected
5. Remuneration: The remuneration fee will be Rs. 5000/- per sitting along with to and fro transportation facility and as may be laid down by the GERC from time to time. The Forum shall hold at least one sitting in a week on specific day in any district place of UGVCL.

Selection Procedure
1. The management reserves the right to short list, select or rejects any candidates and to reduce / extend contractual period as the case may be for selection.
2. The recruitment process shall be carried out as per the Company’s Rules. The company reserves the right to short-list and select any candidate as per the requirement of the company and to reject candidature in the event of detecting the candidate’s ineligibility at any stage.

The vision & mission of Company is to arrange supply of Electricity in an efficient & economical manner, with particular reference to the areas, they collect data on the demand for use of electricity & to formulate planning in coordination with the Generating Company for better operation in the State for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
The Company is responsible for Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electricity. The Company accelerated power development by planning and implementing new power project to provide uninterrupted power supply to Agriculture, Industries, Commercial Sector and Domestic Sector.
