The objective of the UCST is to act as a nodal agency for the Department of Science & Technology for the Government of India. To promote the popularization of science and the spread of a scientific temper and attitude amongst the people of the state and to disseminate scientific knowledge and also for the promotion of science & technology for socio-economic benefits for the state and resolve the technology based problems and pursuing high end research for making Science & Technology at the core of inclusive development of the state.
