Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya was established on 10th July 1954 by Dr. Rohit Mehta, a thinker renowned and front line about the institution. Its motto is to provide Education & Services and strengthened the cause of women’s education in country.
MISSION: The Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya was to linkup education with culture, while seeing that the higher standards of the academic end are maintained we felt that the girls should get education about their culture, traditional of the land. Our education efforts was to synthesis full freedom with total sense of responsibility to our students.
VISION: Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya has vision on the one hand to implement the syllabus provide by Banaras Hindu University upholding the idea and vision of the better implementation of education system for women.
This confluence of great ideas with Spiritual and patriotic understanding that enriches the entire profile of the college .It aim at imparting education of holistic nature with empowers different dimensions of students personality , individually and also as responsible citizens able to serve community.
The college follow a regular schedule of organizing seminars, conferences, guest lectures and workshops participation of experts in the respective fields as resource persons bring about desired enrichment for students.
