Vasanta College for Women is one of the oldest colleges of Varanasi (ed. 1913), admitted to the privileges of Banaras Hindu University, and runs under the aegis of Krishnamurti Foundation India, a world-renowned foundation devoted to the cause of education. The college is recognized by UGC under sections 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956. Students from various states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Delhi, and North East India benefit from the educational facilities provided by the college.
