Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification
Each post has specific educational and qualification requirements. Candidates must ensure they meet the criteria for the discipline they are applying to.
- Junior Research Fellow / Project Associate — Electrical & Electronics Engineering: Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET or GATE — or B.Tech / M.Tech in EEE / EE / ECE / ETC / IT / CS / Instrumentation Engineering, or M.Sc in Electronics / Physics.
- Junior Research Fellow / Project Associate — Civil Engineering: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks and valid GATE / NET score; or M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering / Construction Technology with minimum CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks.
- Project Associate — Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Class. Desirable: M.Tech in Thermal Engineering with First Class.
- Project Associate — Computer Science & Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science / EEE, or M.Sc in Computer Science / Electronics, or M.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science, or MCA.
Selection Process and Screening Clause
The selection for all four posts at VSSUT will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 09 October 2026 at the VSSUT Campus, Burla, Sambalpur, Odisha.
- Candidates must first complete the online application on or before 08 October 2026.
- Eligible candidates shortlisted after online screening will be called for the walk-in interview.
