Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Direct Recruitment – Essential Qualifications
- M.A. Class I in History (Modern) or equivalent 1st Class Honours Degree of a recognized University; OR M.A. Class II with Doctorate on any subject relating to Modern Indian History
- Research Publications
- Capacity to guide students engaged in Research
- 10 years' experience of teaching in a University or 1st Grade College; OR 5 years' administrative experience in a responsible post
Direct Recruitment – Desirable Qualifications
- 1st Class Diploma in Museology
- Travel abroad in at least 2 countries notable for museum development
Deputation / Transfer Eligibility
- Officer from the grade of Professor or Senior Class I Officer (or equivalent) eligible for deputation/transfer
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Selection will be made on the basis of scrutiny of applications by the competent authority of Victoria Memorial Hall.
- Candidates shortlisted will be called for interview as deemed appropriate by the management.
