Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (minimum 60% marks) and M.Tech/M.E. in Transportation Engineering with a good academic background (minimum 60% marks). Alternatively, candidates with at least two years of research experience in Transportation Engineering and a research publication in an SCI/Scopus-indexed journal may apply. A minimum first class (60% marks) is required.
• Desirable: In-depth knowledge of pedestrian safety, signal design, simulation in VISSIM, statistical analysis, and coding in Python or C++. Preference will be given to candidates possessing these skills.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 32 years.
• Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Women, and Physically Handicapped categories.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance and professional/research experience. Short-listed candidates will be intimated by email and will have to appear for an interview. The decision of the Director, VNIT Nagpur will be final in all respects. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
