Applications are invited for the purely temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the research project titled “Status, distribution patterns and habitat modeling of Nicobar Megapode Megapodius nicobariensis Blyth, 1846: An impact assessment after fifteen years of the tsunami 2004” sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, at Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre, Zoological Survey of India, Port Blair-744 102, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

3. Educational Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Wildlife Biology/Zoology/Environmental Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate mark from a recognized University
4. Desirable Qualification: Research experience in bird studies
5. Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/-per month with NET/GATE qualification (Rs. 25,000/- per month without NET/ GATE qualification) + HRA as per rules
