Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Eligibility is evaluated on a preference-based hierarchy applicable to both Individual and Team Sports disciplines. Candidates must meet one of the four preference tiers below.
Individual Sports Disciplines (Swimming)
- 1st Preference: Represented India at a recognized international competition under a recognized NSF / Association of the respective sport.
- 2nd Preference: Medal winner at Senior National Past Championship conducted by a recognized NSF, or medal winner at Khelo India Games.
- 3rd Preference: Medal winner at National AIU Past Championship.
- 4th Preference: Represented State in Senior National Past Championship conducted by a recognized NSF, or participation in Khelo India Games.
Team Sports Disciplines (Badminton, Football, Kabaddi)
- 1st Preference: Represented India at a recognized international competition under a recognized NSF / Association of the respective sport.
- 2nd Preference: Part of the medal-winning team at Senior National Past Championship conducted by a recognized NSF, or part of the medal-winning team at Khelo India Games.
- 3rd Preference: Part of the medal-winning team at National AIU Past Championship.
- 4th Preference: Represented State in Senior National Past Championship conducted by a recognized NSF, or participation in Khelo India Games.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years. Age relaxation may be accorded in deserving cases as per the discretion of the competent authority. No specific category-wise relaxation schedule is detailed in the notification.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection of candidates will be based on periodic review and performance assessment. The following conditions govern the engagement:
- The engagement is on a contractual basis for an initial period of 02 years, subject to extension based on performance and institutional requirement.
- Performance of the selected candidate will be continuously reviewed, and extension will be considered on the basis of periodic review.
- The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving 30 days' notice if performance is not found satisfactory, and may withdraw the offer at any time without assigning any reason.

- Tax Deductible at Source (TDS) or any other applicable tax will be deducted as per prevailing rules before payment.
