Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Category: Retired Non-Gazetted Railway Employees only.
- Age Limit: Up to 65 years as on date of application.
- Cadre/Experience: Must have held the same cadre/category up to three levels higher than the post applied for. Preference to those retired from the same Pay Level (Level-6 for JE, Level-7 for SSE).
- MACPS Eligibility: Staff granted Financial Upgradation to Level-8/9 under MACPS or Level-8 (Non-gazetted) via RBE 155/2022 are eligible.
- Exclusions: Not covered under LARSGESS/Safety Related Retirement Scheme; not Removed/Dismissed/Compulsorily Retired due to disciplinary action or age review; no pending DAR/Vigilance cases.
- Integrity & Medical: Must possess high integrity and be medically fit in the prescribed category.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Screening/Shortlisting: Applications scrutinized for eligibility.
- Assessment of Suitability/Competency: By a Committee of Officers, considering safety, operational requirements, and relevant work experience.
- Medical Examination: As per existing railway medical standards for the post.
- Document Verification: Original certificates verified at time of assessment/interview.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the assessment/interview. TA/DA on official tour (if any) allowed as per entitlement at time of retirement.
