• Teaching Assistant – Geography: M.Sc in Geography with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade from an accredited Indian/foreign University) AND B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks. Candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. are exempted from NET/SLET/SET requirement.
• Teaching Assistant – English: MA in English with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade from an accredited Indian/foreign University) AND B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks. Candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET. Ph.D. holders are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
• Desired Qualification: M.Ed with specialisation or Ph.D. in Education is desirable for both posts.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection of candidates for Teaching Assistant posts at RGU will be based on a direct walk-in interview. Candidates will be assessed on their academic credentials, subject knowledge, and teaching aptitude. The following screening and interview protocols apply:

• Candidates must arrive at the venue with original supporting documents along with photocopies for verification.
