Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Assistant: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; minimum two years’ experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent in any Government/PSU/Autonomous body/private sector organization with annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 crores; English typing @ 35 WPM or Hindi typing @ 30 WPM; computer proficiency; completion of one-week job-specific training/skill enhancement program.
• Library Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; English typing @ 35 WPM or Hindi typing @ 30 WPM; computer proficiency.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process involves quality assessment of ACRs (Annual Confidential Reports) followed by a personal interview. Persons who fall directly under line of promotion in the concerned cadre are not eligible for appointment on deputation basis. The deputation period is initially for one year, extendable annually up to a maximum of three years. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
