The Directorate of Education, U.T. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience:For TGT: Graduate in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. (OR four-year integrated B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.). For PGT: Post Graduate in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. (OR PG with B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.). Medium of study in SSC should match the medium applied for (except for language subjects).
Skills:Teaching, subject matter expertise, communication, classroom management, and lesson planning.
Age Limit:Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of notification. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Central Government orders/guidelines issued from time to time.
Salary (per month): TGT: ₹27,000/- per month; PGT: ₹29,000/- per month (consolidated).
