• Technician Grade II (Electrical) – PTCUL: High School or equivalent from a Recognised Board with Science and Mathematics; All India / State Vocational Certificate in Electrician trade; 2 years of relevant work experience obtained after acquiring the prescribed qualification.
• Technician Grade II (Electrical) – UJVNL: High School or equivalent from a Recognised Board with Science and Mathematics; All India / State Vocational Certificate in Electrician or Electronics trade; 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
• Technician Grade II (Mechanical) – UJVNL: High School or equivalent from a Recognised Board with Science and Mathematics; All India / State Vocational Certificate in Fitter trade; 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience.

Experience Requirement

The two years of experience must be relevant to the concerned trade and must be post-qualification. Experience certificates are accepted from Government, Semi-Government, Limited, Private Limited, registered private companies, and registered firms, as applicable per the notification.

Other Eligibility Conditions

For direct recruitment to the advertised Group C posts, candidates must satisfy the conditions prescribed by the Uttarakhand Government, which may include: registration with an employment office located in Uttarakhand up to the last date of application; holding an Uttarakhand domicile / permanent residence certificate; or having passed the prescribed school-level examinations from recognised institutions situated in Uttarakhand, as applicable under the rules. 1. Offline Written Competitive Examination – Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (OMR-based), 100 Marks, 2 Hours Duration, based on the educational / technical qualification prescribed for the post.
2. Document Verification – of shortlisted candidates.

Examination Details

• Exam Mode: Offline (OMR Answer Sheet)
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned per wrong answer; no negative marking for unanswered questions.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: Unreserved / OBC – 45%; SC / ST – 35%
• Merit List Basis: Marks obtained in the written examination. In case of ties, preference is given to the older candidate first, followed by rules stated in the notification.

Use of whitener or scratching / cutting of options on the OMR sheet is strictly prohibited and may attract negative marking or disqualification. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the examination. Mobile phones, calculators, pagers, scanners, and other prohibited electronic devices are not permitted inside the examination centre.
