Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Project Nurse-II:
  • Essential: Three-year General Nursing and Midwifery course from a recognized institution.
  • Desirable: Valid State Nursing Council registration; experience in perioperative nursing, critical care, geriatric nursing or clinical research; familiarity with delirium assessment (CAM/CAM-ICU), cognitive screening, patient follow-up and documentation; proficiency in Hindi, Marathi and English; computer and spreadsheet literacy; Good Clinical Practice training or willingness to complete protocol-specific training.
• Project Technical Support-III:
  • Essential Route A: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject/field with three years of relevant post-qualification experience. Relevant subjects: Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences. (For Engineering/IT/Computer Science, a four-year graduate degree is eligible where relevant to lab data systems or sample tracking.)
  • Essential Route B: A postgraduate degree in a relevant subject/field (no experience required for this route).
  • All qualifications must be from a recognized university or institution. Subject equivalence is governed by ICMR guidelines.
  • Desirable: Hands-on experience in blood sample processing, serum/plasma separation, aliquoting, ELISA, pipetting, cold-chain management and sample inventory; familiarity with laboratory quality control, biosafety, laboratory records and computer-based data entry.
• Age Limit: 30 years for both posts (relaxation as per prevailing ICMR and institute rules). The notification does not specify a cut-off date for counting age.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Stage 1 – Eligibility Screening: Applications will be screened for eligibility against the essential criteria.
• Stage 2 – Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the AIIMS Nagpur website and/or email.
• Stage 3 – Written Screening Test (Conditional): If more than 15 applications are received for a given post, a written test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
• Stage 4 – Personal Interview: Selection will be through a personal interview at AIIMS Nagpur. Date: 21/11/2026. Reporting Time: 08:00 AM. Venue: Department of Anaesthesiology, 1st Floor IPD OT Complex, AIIMS Nagpur.
• Document Verification: Candidates must produce original documents for verification at the interview.
• Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets for the relevant qualifications (GNM certificate for Project Nurse-II; Graduation/Post-Graduation degrees for Project Technical Support-III)
• Experience Certificates on official letterhead (if applying via the graduate-degree + 3-years experience route)
• Nursing Registration Certificate from the applicable State Nursing Council (for Project Nurse-II)
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Completed CV in the prescribed format (Annexure I for Project Nurse-II, Annexure II for Project Technical Support-III) with signed declaration of truthfulness
